What's Happening?
The end is in sight for the Rib Lake gymnasium addition. With the ribbon cutting and grand opening on the horizon, crews on site have continued to refine the new
spaces. This week, we welcomed the architect and engineering team back for one final look at this phase
before it is completed and turned over to the owner. The next two weeks will consist of finishing touches to make the
space as nice as possible for the grand opening.
Bleachers have now been installed in the gym, putting one of the final pieces of the puzzle in place. Next week, the scoreboards and final videoing equipment will be installed, making the space ready for action.
Looking ahead, crews have begun returning to site as we prepare to start the next phase of work in the existing gym. Demolition and abatement coordination is ongoing, and the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades are eager to access their next work area.

The acoustical accent ceiling has been installed above the trophy case.

DID YOU KNOW?
Last week we tested the new sprinkler alert system in the middle school and addition. The new sprinkler system is tied to the fire alarm, allowing it to notify building occupants and the local fire department if a sprinkler head is set off. During the test, it took approximately 40 seconds from the sprinkler activation to the alarm sounding. That is faster than it takes to brush your teeth!
