The asphalt binder course has been completed, shaping the drive around the north side of the school.
What’s Happening?
Crews onsite have continued the installation of overhead mechanical, electrical, and plumbing with the large square duct beginning inside the gym and the electrical conduits wrapping up in the corridor. Soon electrical conduit will be installed in the gym and the ductwork will be run into the addition restrooms.
Recently the fitness room has received its rubber flooring and vinyl base. A punch list has taken place, allowing the finish trades to begin to make the minor touchups before the space is turned over.
After ceiling grid and tile was installed in the office area, the flooring was put into place and we have begun to receive casework. In the coming weeks, casework will be installed and the space will come closer to taking its final form.
Outside of the building, the site concrete has been completed with curb on the north side of the building and sidewalks on the south side of the building. Asphalt binder course has also been completed around the north side of the building.

Did you Know?
The rubber flooring that has been installed in the fitness room has become a very popular choice in fitness spaces. That is due to the natural “suspension” characteristic that it has. The rubber flooring reduces wear on the concrete below, protecting it from direct contact with weights and gym equipment, while also absorbing some of the pressure on your body, helping with fatigue and soreness on your joints and muscles.
