The locker room slab on grade has been poured and the cement finishers are working hard to give it a nice smooth finish.

 

What’s Happening?

On site at the Rib Lake School District, work on the new addition is moving right along. The masons have worked to complete the south and east walls, along with all of the walls for the restrooms, concession stand, and storage spaces. Along with the masons, the plumbers have worked to complete all of their underground installation to allow for the slab on grade to be poured soon.

Inside of the Middle School, the demo crews made short work of the existing spaces, allowing the plumbers to install the underground plumbing in the locker rooms. Shortly after the plumbers wrapped up, the space was prepped for new concrete which was poured late this week.

Soon we will see interior masonry begin in the middle school and the precast concrete planks getting set for the addition.  

The new storm sewer has been set into place on the south side of North Street.

The locker rooms is being prepped with vapor barrier for the slab on grade pour.

A mini electric excavator has been utilized to help with the interior excavations for plumbing and concrete.

The masonry for the new restrooms and concession stand has been completed ahead of the precast plank to come.
