Welcome to the School District of Rib Lake!

The School District has a tradition of excellence and a staff that goes above and beyond to help prepare our students for the future. I am incredibly honored to serve our students and community in my third year as the superintendent of the School District of Rib Lake.

I have experience teaching and coaching across the country. I was raised in Virginia, and after spending time teaching and coaching in rural North Carolina, Chicago, and Stratford, my family and I decided to make Rib Lake home. I am so glad we did because of this amazing community and school district.

Over the past two and a half years, I have been privileged to work with excellent staff and students to accomplish a number of significant outcomes. Our elementary school was honored as a National Blue Ribbon School in 2022 for both high achievement and high growth, 1 of only 7 schools to be honored with this award in the state. In 2023, our Middle School received the U.S. News and World Reports Best Middle School award, and our high school continues to flourish in expanding college credit offers to our students, saving our students in 23-24 over $50,000 in college tuition costs. 

In 2023 we worked with a group of staff, parents, and community members to create a vision for the next 10 years. In doing so, we developed our current strategic plan to guide our district. Our plan is focused on our four key pillars of Students, Staff, Community, and Facilities/Finance. I invite you to explore our Strategic Plan page to learn more about this. 

In April of 2024, our community also passed a $19.5 million referendum focused on improving district wide safety, security and accessibility, renovating and improving aging buildings, systems and equipment and helping bring many of our academic and support areas up to 21st century standards. I also invite you to explore more about this project in our referendum section of the website. We will be breaking ground in May 2025 and hope to have the project completed by fall of 2026.
