What's Happening?
Progress on the new PAC and Band Room has continued steadily over the past few weeks, with the spaces beginning to take shape. The thickened concrete footings for the new masonry walls have been poured and cured, allowing masonry work to resume. Beginning in the band storage area, masons are coordinating closely with electrical and mechanical trades to construct walls and complete in-wall rough-ins.
On the stage, the mechanical team has been actively installing new ductwork to serve both the PAC and the Band Room. Following removal of the existing ductwork, new main runs have been delivered and hoisted into place at ceiling level.
In the coming weeks, masonry and ductwork for masonry walls. installation will continue. Framing activities are also set to resume, with work beginning on the band mezzanine and interior wall framing.
