Mark Krommenacker is the Rib Lake High School Physical Education Teacher. This is his fourth year teaching at Rib Lake.
Rib Lake physical education 9/10 and 11/12 classes focus on improving the health and fitness of students while providing the knowledge and skills necessary to stay active outside of school. Daily fitness activities provide students an opportunity to improve their skills while capturing the endless benefits of physical activity. Team and cooperative games are used to develop skills which transfer to many other areas of students' everyday lives, including sportsmanship, teamwork and attitude. Examples of these games are Football, Volleyball, Basketball and "Redmen-Ball." Physical Education 11/12 focus on lifetime activities to promote physical activity outside of class, and throughout students' lives. Examples of lifetime activities focused on in class are Golf, Archery, Canoeing, Biking, Snowshoeing and Disc Golf.
Rib Lake offers many opportunities to be active outside of school. The physical education program at Rib Lake aims to educate students of the opportunities available, the endless benefits, and the skills and knowledge necessary to be physically active throughout their lives.
