Rib Lake Teacher and Senior - 2016 Kohl Award Recipients
The Herb Kohl Educational Foundation has announced recipients of 2016 Herb Kohl Foundation awards for students, teachers, and -- new this year -- principals. The $3,000 awards are being made to 100 teachers and 16 principals and their schools, and 184 graduating high school students. Two of Rib Lake's own, Matthew Robisch and Brooke Buehler, were honored by Herb Kohl at a regional luncheon this past weekend!

Kohl Teacher Fellowship recipient.
Rib Lake High School Senior, Brooke
Buehler, is the Kohl Initiative Scholarship recipient.
Fellowship recipients are educators who have been chosen for their superior ability to inspire a love of learning in their students, their ability to motivate others, and their leadership and service within and outside the classroom. Initiative Scholarship recipients, chosen by their schools, have demonstrated exceptional initiative in the classroom and have shown strong promise for succeeding in college and beyond. WI State Assembly Representative James Edming Visits Rib Lake Schools
Wisconsin State Assembly Representative James Edming is spending the day visiting all three Rib Lake School District schools today. He is meeting students, staff and administrators.
